Jilted lovers plot the perfect revenge in this 15-minute, comic remake of Don Giovanni.
A smarmy Lothario fallen on hard times goes in search of someone to take care of him in his old age. Unbeknownst to each other, three old lovers converge on the same railway quai to meet him. Discovering his treachery, they gleefully take their revenge. Evil gets its comeuppance. Good triumphs. Happy ending.
HISTORY: The Great Albert was commissioned by the Opéra de Poche for their 2020 season, ultimately cancelled by Covid, as is 2021. This opera is designed for the Web but easily could be performed in person.
